Screen and treat - lessons from Malawi

Scottish led project - started by Heather Cubie now ten years old - it uses a hub and spoke approach and Thermal ablation was the chosen treatment for a low resource setting
By 2016 - 17,222 women had been screened , 6% needed treatment and 96% same day

2108 - 2024 Second project was established to enhance sustainability and to extend the reach - eight different hubs and 42 active spokes -130,000 women screened, 97,000 never previously screened.
