Sexual Health Viewpoint - Good news and bad

This presentation provides an update on the current experience of HPV related disease seen in GUM clinics. There has been a reduction in HPV genital warts but significant increase in STDs. Most peak at an early age with peak in women at an earlier age. Vaccination has had a significant effect especially since including 6 and 11. Inclusion of boys (2019) and MSM (2016) to the age of 45 in MSM and catch up up to the age of 25 years. Current recommendations - Single dose up to age 25, Two doses - 25 and over, Immunosuppressed and HIV - three doses.
