Understanding the Ethnic variation in cervical screening participation in Scotland

This programme informs us about a research programme looking at cervical screening and ethnic minorities. Findings - ethnicity was a significant factor in lower uptake in women - a factor independent of Age and Social status. The medical communit needs to recognise differences and promote more engagement with communities and healthcare professionals to identify and overcome barriers.
